Scientific Chair’s Message

I would like to take this opportunity to welcome all participants to the fifth International

TPCF preclinical imaging symposium (TPIS2022), which is a virtual meeting from
August 17 to 18, 2022. As a leading institute for the convergence of science and

technology in the field of preclinical imaging, TPCF organizes annual symposiums.
In the TPIS 2022 we have 15 keynote speeches by brilliant scientists. These talks

cover various aspects of preclinical imaging. This year the side events of symposium
includes seven main events. The side events are entitled as “Principles of the care

and use of laboratory animals”, “New Horizons in Molecular Imaging & Therapy,
Artificial Intelligence and Digital Twins”, “Two-day practical workshop on paper

writing”, “What can Fractal geometry offer for analyzing images? From geoscience
to medicine”, “Surgery in laboratory animals”, “Current status and future horizons

in PET/CT imaging”, and “Radio Thin Layer Chromatographic (RTLC) Procedures
for the Characterization of Radiopharmaceuticals” which provided an expanded

program of talks and discussions on each filed.
We also received many research papers, which were reviewed by panel of experts in the

field. The selected papers will be presented orally and by poster during the symposium.
Finally, I like to express my appreciations to all symposium speakers, panel

moderators and speakers, scientific committee, reviewers, authors of submitted
papers, executive committee, and everyone who assisted in this symposium and

wish health and success for all.
           With Best regards,
                                                               Dr. Ehsan Sharif-Paghaleh
                                                                    Scientific Chair
