AI assisted preclinical imaging

ABSTRACT:

Research and diagnostics already rely heavily on preclinical imaging. In
developing new drugs, imaging methods play an increasingly important
role. Using AI-assisted preclinical imaging to assess diagnostic
solutions can be more environmentally friendly and save the health
and pharmaceutical industry time and money. Employing artificial
intelligence to analyze the data, especially images, can drastically
reduce the costs for different preclinical imaging modalities. These

methods can lead to quicker and more robust results to optimize the
validation. However, using AI raises safety problems when it comes
to generalization. In this presentation, we will learn more about
the potential applications of AI in preclinical imaging and briefly
introduce safety problems.
