Dr. Kim is a Professor of Biomedical Engineering in Radiology
at Weill Cornell Medical College. He received his PhD in Biomedical
Engineering from the University of Southern California and
completed his postdoctoral fellowship in cancer imaging at the
University of Pennsylvania. His research focuses on development
of quantitative dynamic contrast enhanced and diffusion MRI
methods for early detection of cancer and assessment of treatment
response, particularly in breast cancer and head and neck cancer.
Dr. Kim’s laboratory has been funded by grants and cooperative
research agreements from the NIH and foundations.
